Monday Light Humor Before I Hyperventilate

Monday, June 25, 2012

So guys, the first round of movers are coming today and I have to say that I feel like vomiting or crying in a quiet corner somewhere.  Maybe both simultaneously.
I am leaving in a week and don't have any passports.  And the passport agent has all our birth certificates.  And when I call to see what the holdup is she reassures me by saying things like, "We haven't heard anything since April.  This usually only takes 5 weeks.  We'll try to find your file and call you tomorrow."
Super.
Add to that the fact that Aidin has rediscovered his old Thomas The Train Christmas sing-a-long book and has been belting out Jingle Bells since dawn  and you could say that I'm going to my dark place.
I'm trying to breathe and stay calm.
So let's all just CALM DOWN and try to take our minds off the myriad of things that can go wrong during an international move with some funny shiz.

(If you follow me on Facebook some of this might be old news. Get over it.)

  4. DUDE! Remain calm! You don't need a passport to leave the country... just one to get back in. Have your neighbor watch the mailbox after you leave and have them shipped to you. I love reading your funny posts. Makes me day... every.single.time!
