Hi guys!
As many of you know, Act of Valor comes out on DVD tomorrow!
I am seriously excited for this because I have yet to see it (waiting on Spouse to get back from training so we can watch it together)!

Synopsis:
. In the Bandito Brothers’ Act Of Valor, an elite military force, portrayed by
active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs, carries out an impossible mission with insane courage
and incredible teamwork in one of the most gripping and emotionally charged
movies of the year. A fictionalized
account of real life Navy SEAL operation, Act Of Valor features a riveting
story that takes audiences on an adrenaline-fueled, edge-of-their-seat journey.
When a mission to recover a kidnapped CIA operative unexpectedly results in the
discovery of an imminent, terrifying global threat, an elite team of highly
trained Navy SEALs must immediately embark on a heart-stopping secret
operation, the outcome of which will determine the fate of us all.
In Act Of Valor, the audience gets to witness the heroism of a group of
active-duty U.S. Navy Seals. Though the
film is a work of fiction, it allows the audience to take a peek into the risks
and sacrifices these men and women do for their country and their family.
To mark Act Of Valor's release, here are a few fun craft ideas fit for any homecoming or care package!
Easy Red White & Blue Banner:
Yarn or twine and some construction paper is all you need to make this patriotic sign. Easy enough for the kids to help make and incredibly versatile. Make one to celebrate a happy homecoming, 4th of July celebration or your own Act Of Valor viewing party!
Deployment Map:
Print out a simple black and white map of the world. Draw your service member's picture, placing it in the area he/she is deployed. Then draw your picture in the area that you call home. Draw a line from you to your deployed service member so you are always connected, no matter how far apart. Not a natural born artist? Feel free to use real photos.
Instead of drawing a line, use two tacks and a string to connect them, moving your service member's tack closer to home each month.
You can make a family deployment map or let each child make their own. You can make this as detailed or simple as you'd like!
Winners will be announced this Friday!

I'd get 'Wife of the Year' if I got this for my little enlistee.
